Jane Hicks, PNP

Jane Hicks graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She later went to Saint Louis University, where she received her Masters in Nursing of Children in 1990. Jane completed postgraduate work for her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of Missouri St. Louis in 1994. Jane is licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Missouri and certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

Prior to working with Children’s Clinic in St. Louis, Jane worked as a staff nurse in many settings including adult ICU, pediatric ICU, pediatric ER, labor and delivery.  She also taught nursing for 12 years at Missouri Baptist Medical Center School of Nursing. Jane has been working as a nurse practitioner since 1994.

Jane has lived in St. Louis since 1977. She has two grown daughters who are both happily married, and two grandchildren! In her free time, Jane enjoys the outdoors and stays active by walking and riding her bike. She loves to spend time with family, do puzzles and watch British mysteries.

I have always loved caring for children and their parents. I enjoy educating families on what’s going on and what they can do to help their children.
