Melissa Oexeman, PNP

Melissa Neely Oexeman graduated from the University of Missouri—Columbia in 2014 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She went to receive her Masters of Science in Nursing—Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Saint Louis University in 2019. She is licensed as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB).

Prior to joining the Children’s Clinic, Melissa worked as a staff nurse on an adult orthopedic/post-surgical unit at SSM St. Clare Hospital for a short time, before finding her calling taking care of children on an infant/toddler medical/surgical unit at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital for 5 years. Melissa started at the Children’s Clinic as a phone triage nurse in 2021, then started seeing patients as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2022.

Melissa was born and raised in St. Louis. She and her husband have one son, born in 2021, two dogs, and four nephews who they love spending time with. Melissa spends most of her free time with family and friends and she enjoys traveling and the outdoors.

I am excited to take care of and get to know the children and families at Children’s Clinic.
